For our 30th anniversary year, Little Flowers Camp invites girls to step into the garden of our faith, inspired by the lives of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and Francis of Assisi. Just as a garden is filled with many different flowers— each unique and beautiful, so too is God’s family. Each girl is a “little flower”, lovingly created by God and placed exactly where she is meant to grow. Throughout the week, campers will discover that holiness is not about doing extraordinary things, but about doing small things with great love. Inspired by St. Thérèse’s “Little Way,” girls will learn how simple acts of kindness, patience, and joy can make a big difference in the lives of others. Like St. Francis, campers will also be invited to see God in all of creation—through the beauty of nature, friendship, and the world around them. Through out-door adventures, prayer, games, crafts and meaningful activities, they will grow in gratitude and praise God with joyful hearts. Together, we will explore
what it means to:

Bloom where God plants us

Grow in faith, kindness, and courage

Choose joy in every circumstance

Share God’s love in small, everyday ways

Our hope is that each girl leaves camp knowing she is deeply loved by God and uniquely created to bloom right where she is—as a beautiful “little flower” in His garden.

Saint Therese of Lisieux, known as “The Little Flower”, is one of the Catholic Church’s most beloved saints. Although she lived only 24 years (1873-1897), she was gifted with a great intimacy with God, and has touched countless lives through her autobiography, “The Story of a Soul.” Many people have obtained favors through her intercession, and millions have imitated her “little way” – sanctification through doing small deeds with great love.

She is one of the few saints who has been honored with the title “Doctor of the Church.” Because she was a young woman and lived a seemingly “ordinary” life, Saint Therese is an exceptional role model for girls and a powerful patroness for the Little Flowers Summer Camp.
